Today was my first day at REALISE. The people in my Wardli are Georgia ST, MadelineB, CatherineY, JuliaE, MimiH and ZaraF. We had sausages and meat patties for dinner. I am very excited and am looking forward to the coming weeks. Ollie and I are picking an activity for fitness tomorrow morning. We might pick cricket on the oval.

Georgia has come up with nicknames for a few of us. I am Jim ( because apparently I am a leader and captian the USS Enterprise), Catherine is CPXY, Madeline is Red, Julia is JB and Georgia is Wendy.

We all sat together at the dinner table and set out meals for the week. We are all to cook a meal each week as there are 7 people in our Wardli. I put up my posters which made the Wardli more friendly.

We also met the nanas. They gave us detergent and hand towels, which were greatly appreciated.

In Chill-out time, we all got to pick a secluded spot for an hour of reflection, reading, writing or sleeping. My spot is number 12.

Today I woke up at 6:30, checked the water and electricity levels and weighed the compost and garbage. I then went to the oval and Ollie and I organised a game. We decided to play rob the nest. After stretching we went to Kim's Wardli for breakfast. We then went into our Wardli groups to organise what we needed to buy on our shopping trip. We got ready and took the bus to the nearest Foodland. We spent $248 and were $70 under budget.

Today was a sleep in day. I woke up at 7:45 and cooked myself some bacon and eggs for breakfast. After that we got dressed in our bathers and went to a beach. We put on wetsuits, hoods, snorkel masks, flippers and reef-walkers. The water was really cold. I saw a jellyfish and I held an orange starfish. When we got back we washed our wetsuits and had lunch. I made myself a wrap but it failed and fell apart. We then went to the classroom and did some work for science. At 4:00pm we had free time. I prepared the roast for tonight's dinner and put it in the oven. An hour later was chill-out time. A bird pooped on me. I was also surrounded by Aragog's children. A spider's egg sack had burst and baby spiders were flying everywhere in my face. At 6:00pm we had dinner and a chocolate ripple biscuit cake made by moi.

Today we went! We spent $379. We then went back to Wambana and had some lunch. After lunch we did either tree plating or some mosaics. I was sorted into the group that did mosaics. I got tile glue all over my fingers! After freetime and chillout, we made pizzas and put them in the pizza oven. I had ham and cheese on mine. We then watched Wild Child. Lights out was at 10:05.

Today is our last day at Wambana. I'll miss this place. My Wardli was really like my family. We all had fun and enjoyed each others company. We were all packed and ready to go surfing today. We drove for 1.5 hours until we arrived at Marion Bay. There were no waves... We said goodbye to the surf instructors and drove to the Marion Bay Service station. Kim bought us all hot chips. We watched Finding Nemo and did some classwork when we got back to Wambana. We cleared our pantry and gave all our food to the teacher's wardli. They cooked us some "Pimpin' Potato Bake", "Suprise Chicken Curry", "Super Spag Bol" and "Fun Friday Fried Rice" even though it's Thursday...
Going home tomorrow. Goodbye REALISE!
